Keep your finger off the SELL button...

Keep your finger off the SELL button. My guess is that $674 per BTC value is nothing compared to what we’ll see in the next 6 months...

Germany just recognized BTC as private money, I think you're right. http://www.cnbc.com/id/100971898

a month or so after i started collecting bicoins I predicted that around december because of christmas and stuff the price would be at around 450-ish dollars per coin, and boy was I surprised when it reached the value it has now it surpassed my initial expectations but it can devalue if something goes wrong, but if countries start reognising it then not just bitcoin but other cryptos might gain a boost in their value in the next 2 to 8 months, at least if it goes like this...

I agree. I think because the US gov has recognized btc as having benefical qualities, it's going to be taken very seriously very soon by everyone. It's only a matter of time before this thing really takes off...globally.

Couldn't agree more. And just a matter of time before LTC becomes more mainstream.

If Gold is BTC, Silver is LTC.

Just my two cents worth.

I don't think Christmas is the reason here.. I have a strong feeling that the fall of Silk Road did the trick ;)

I agree.. too many people panic selling because of chinese news.  Price has already rebounded and looks to be stabilizing.  I wish I had bought more in the $500-$600 range last few days.

It's hard to presume, but we certainly hope that digital currency would get its highest value soon. Base on growing users, merchants and wannabe miners, we can’t stop using technology to ease our lives. From a value that was worth almost nothing, looks like it’s going to be a good investment.

I'm not looking to get some LTC mining equipment. There looks to be only one company about to accept orders. Anyone have any advice on the LTC minig game?

As of December 16th, I still stand behind bitcoinforums.com's post, stay away from the sell.

Understand, the single most talked about topic slated for 2014 whether you are black or white, white collar or blue collar, domestic or international, rich or poor, dog or cat is going to be bitcoin.

So much money will be up for grabs in, and around, the phenomenon you will look at this current news as just a hiccup in the big picture.

China did drop more "bad" news this morning, but as with any scorching investment or disruptive phenomenon...it's more of a rollercoaster ride than a Sunday drive. ;)
Freedom is not knowing your limits but realizing that you have none.
